Cuylle up with the Rangers

If Cuylle can play his heavy game on the 4th line and keep it simple, I think there is a chance he can remain there all year. But we'll see, it could just be giving him a couple games before the break as a reward for his solid play in the AHL.

Also very cool that he gets to make his NHL debut in his hometown tomorrow night.

I know he's been solid in Hartford but I would rather keep him there being a very solid contributor. I hope this decision proves me wrong. We just can't keep rushing these guys up here.

It's fine. Cullye gets his cup of coffee, the powers that be get to see how he looks in the bigs, and Blais returns in 2 weeks.

In 11th grade, I failed to comprehend the philosophical proposition that if a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it, did it really happen? Now in adulthood, I still don't get it but I'm glad to see will cuylle get a shot to become a bottom six jam guy.

I'm fine with that I guess. At this point it's about development with the remaining guys like Othmann, Cuylle and Berard. We've been there and done that rushing forwards up. But like you said if he's here just short term and to see how he looks fine but longer term I think it's better for him to develop in Hartford not up here getting 7 min a night on the 4th line.

If Cuylle plays against Toronto one of Kravtsov or Leschyshyn is going to sit and quite likely Vitali because someone has to play center on the 4th line.
It's likely Kravtsov. Don't see someone like GG liking a 4th liner who barely makes any physical contact.

Brownie points for anyone who is able to list all of the iterations of the 4th line we've had so far this season...

On a serious note, hope he wears #50 so I can stop associating the number with a certain first-round "character" pick.

Is there a better way to totally ruin his development than to call him up to play 6-8 minutes on the 4th line with no special teams role? How about leaving him in his big role in the AHL where he can try to score?
