Maybe you should reread the thread title ….it says DOMINANT REGULAR SEASON SUCCESS AND UNABLE TO WIN THE CUP
In the last 10 years the Wild have something like the 5-6 most wins and have never been out of the first round. That is the epitome of the thread title
That just tells me the Wild are consistently good in the regular season whereas most other teams have had a down stretch at some point mixed in. In the last ten years that you speak of, Minnesota...
2014-'15: 4th in Central (second round exit)
2015-'16: 5th in Central (first round exit)
2016-'17: 2nd in Central l (first round exit)
2017-'18: 3rd in Central l (first round exit)
2018-'19: 7th in Central
2019-'20: 6th in Central l (first round exit)
2020-'21: 3rd in West Division l (first round exit)
2021-'22: 2nd in Central l (first round exit)
2022-'23: 3rd in Central l (first round exit)
2023-'24: 6th in Central
Zero divison titles, only twice did they even finish in 2nd. Nothing "dominant" to speak of, just usually good enough to finish in a playoff spot and then get bounced by a better team. Seven straight first round exits speaks to that.
Compare that to the Sharks, who in the time frame specified won four division titles and 12 playoff series, and, sorry, I don't see the comparison at all.
