No still holding MAGA...And the Costco Hot Dog has gone from 2.5 million MC to 3.9 million MC since I posted 4 hours ago...By all means, if you don't want to make money stay away...It's only one of the hottest clins in all of crypto with no signs of slowing down.....added more to my bag about 7 hours ago...So everything I had has doubled....People's lives are being changed...Please stay away as other people can use it more than you.

For every shitcoin that works out long term, a million others fail. The reality is most people get rekt with these scams unless they get out in time.

I have been on this ride once and cashed out at a value a little over than 20k. Had I been greedy, I would have got back to earth. Granted the project I made money with still seem to exist with a decent team behind it, but still you’re gambling at the end of the day.

If you’re pissing this money away knowing it’s lost, cool. But if you’re interested in long term investments. Stick to BTC or even better, go after ETFs.
 
By the time you're reading about a meme coin on here's, it's probably too late to capture any real gains

Initially I was going to say it's too late to "invest" but who am I kidding, there's no investment in meme coins unless you have insider info - otherwise it's pure speculation

I draw the line at tokens that have zero utility.

I’ll take a punt on small caps for sure, but they have to be solving something or innovating in their niche.

Unfortunately, and to the surprise of no one, super sonic goat doge meme coins don’t solve anything.

What kind of utility are we talking about here? Given how the tech is designed, it’s not as useful as ppl think outside of gambling and trying to make a quick buck out of it.

I suppose if you mean utility in the way coins like ETH, SOL, ALGO, etc operate, as in being native coins to their blockchain where other tokens are built on top, I guess you can consider that a utility of some sort. But again, it’s just a gambling tool.
 
It's been a volatile month but the CPI report has us back to the $65k number we've been pegged at for a while

Things don't seem as short term bearish as they did a few weeks ago, but I'm currently in negotiations on a house and might have to cash out everything to get the down payment if we get it and I'd miss out on most of whatever bull run may come.

Update: Accepted counter offer on the house, began unloading crypto & stocks (I'll do it in slices over the next week to reverse dollar cost average) It's going to suck starting my portfolioi basically from scratch but I'll have more real estate equity I guess.

You'll be back. You have the right mindset on timing the big assets as they swing, and I'm guessing you only put anything into alt coins if you understand or believe in the project. Congrats!

Don't forget all the taxes you'll owe next year from cashing out (obviously you know but i'm saying it anyway lol). I have a 20K tax bill coming my way from offloading a big chunk earlier in the year :cry:

Last time I did this I wound up owing about 6K federal and 2 or 3K state. That was mostly off the TSLA boom in 2021. I suspect it'll be around that again. Hopefully I have enough left over after to get back into BTC and NVDA and ride the wave to earn my way back (then maybe knock out those student loans).

Right as I predicted as soon as I start selling everything is up like 7%.

It is what it is. Hopefully I can hop back on the train soon enough for a big run.

I sold approximately $2700 of ETH Thursday and Friday. If I'd held until today it would've netted me an extra $500 or so.

It's the way it is. I'm comforting myself by knowing that you never sell at the absolute top nor buy at the absolute bottom. And it's better to sell a day too early to lock in what you have than a day too late in case it corrects hard.

Just looking forward to closing on this house so that I can start investing new money into ETH and BTC again. Not to be greedy but if there could be a nice pullback in mid-to-late June so I can get back on that'd be great.
