Best crowd thus far?

The Isles and Hurricanes have had great crowds.

Honestly, they’ve all been pretty good. Denver sounded pretty damn loud on TV for only having 7,500.

Didn't see it on the list, but Nashville looked awesome.

The Coli was really freaking loud too for being limited.

The Bolts are not even close to keeping it at 50% or less capacity. Both games I've been to have been 75% at least, but crowd was decent.

Look, everybody is loud.

Differences in decibel level have way more to do with A) how many fans are being allowed in the stands in the first place and B) the acoustic properties of the arena.

There are no geographical or cultural disparities that would explain why fans would be louder at place A versus place B. The only thing I can think of that might temper enthusiasm and/or "loudness" is average age, but I can't imagine there are major difference in that from one city to the next either.

Best crowd? Still Winnipeg:

Lol at the purposeful exclusion of Tampa. Even HF fans how how freaking bad we are. You'll have 19,000 people and it's as quiet as a library in there

I mean, seats sold are seats sold. It probably looks closer to 75% capacity than it actually is because people help cover up the empty seats very nicely. I also would wonder just how many of the seats in the 300 sections are being sold, the areas you never see from television (I'm well aware you have season tickets so you'd have been at the games in person).

Definitely the Tampa Bay Lightning. You didn't see anyone wearing any jerseys but the home team in that arena, I'll tell you that much! What a classy atmosphere.

The Habs WILL have the best crowd though, it'll be amazing to see how much of a difference that will make in the series. Perhaps the crowd will be the game changer needed to turn that series around.

Will be amazing to watch that crowd of hockey fanatics back in the Mecca of hockey, Montreal!

I heard only 2,500 will be allowed (Idk if that’s accurate). So that’s like 12% capacity? It’s a start, at least.
It’s a shame that this series has been played in empty buildings.

2,500 fanatical fans in Hockey's Mecca... There's no hockey fans louder or more die hard in the world than the Montreal Canadiens, and they have been denied live hockey for well over a year now. It will be cataclysmic. The Leafs better bring their ear plugs.

I've been to quite a few arenas, both regular season and playoffs. PNC is the loudest barn in the league.
National broadcast is muting the crowd.

Isles crowd was loudest I have heard so far in the 3rd period of their last game.
