Toronto fans “Sooo”ing for Campbell is the most cringey and biggest reach. Trying to take Vancouver’s “Louuu” or Colorado when they would “Gruuu” but it actually made sense.

They are saying "SOOUUP" aka Campbells soup which is his nickname. Totally fine if you don't like it but they aren't trying to copy "Louuu" from Vancouver

That's a Caps only thing as far as I know. Never heard it in other NHL rinks.

I’ve brought up “refs you suck” numerous times on this board and I’m glad to see it listed in the OP. It’s like a chant a bunch of first graders would come up with and giggle about as they do it. Never mind the fact that most of the time it’s being chanted is because of a proper call or non-call against the home team.

I suppose there is an argument that the old “bullshit” chant preferred by my fellow Bruins fans is just as childish, but I think frequency is the key. I’ll hear the BS chant once every handful of games. There are fanbases routinely resorting to “refs you suck” multiple times a period. Just shut the f*** up already.

I get what you're saying. I tried getting the crowd to chant, "Sports is a distraction from the transitory nature of life!!", but "distraction" came out sounding more like "destruction", which left the players feeling more confused than enlightened. Luckily, the refs sucked.

Nope, the post you quoted was in reference to the “(Insert goalies name here) you suck” chant. The video you posted is your typical chanting of the goalies name, pretty common throughout the league.
