I'm happy we won but the team not having Igor's back in the end was very disappointing. At that point all the Caps were playing for was pride and the team gave up on Igor.

Personally I think is was just a goal scores goal, Ovie was lucky the puck hit his stick

How have the piles given up so little goals and still be so trash. That is truly impressive

They just played an excellent game. And truth be told no one on that team is going to lose any sleep on Igor not getting the shutout. Stop with the but man. We just kicked the shit out of the caps. Dominated them in a playoff like game. This is all Ws.

NBC wasn't very glam but they had hockeyness. Milbury is a horse's ass but he brings a lot of what he brings. Pierre McGuire is weird but he does what he does well. Doc was excellent. Kenny good too. This ESPN cast is just so... manufactured.

I thought that Barron and Gauthier played well together. If Chytil is back, I wouldn't mind trying those three together but with Barron at center.

The 3 of them have a ton of speed. I think that could work, but I also think Barron might be a better option on the Bread line until Kakko comes back.

That is an interesting idea. I kind of hope that spot goes back to Kakko. I would be all for trying Goodrow-Barron-Gauthier too.

It's really embarassing. Along with what you mentioned, NBC had a pre and postgame, ESPN can't even be bothered to do that.

I remember people being so happy that NBC lost the rights. They would complain all the time that Rangers games wouldn't start right at 7:00 or whatever and that they had to sit through the studio for 20 minutes. ESPN got the A package and everyone was so happy. They'll treat it right they said.

Yeah. It isn't a very good production. The camerawork tonight was crap. Wischusen was confusing players. Called Fox "Lafrenière". Confused Schneider and Gauthier, Rooney and Barron.

On the other hand I think TNT has been terrific.
