Loving these bottom 6 signings. Adding some much needed toughness to a baby shit soft team.

The worst thing in that series against the Avs wasn't the lack of offence. It was the total lack of defence. It was the fact Kuemper just faced a barrage of pucks, the team was unable to just make it look like a hockey-game for long stretches. Larsson seems like a man who might just help fix this.

RABBIT

AKA Turd Ferguson
All his metrics are + too (xGF and the like). That while being absolutely buried in defensive zone starts against quality opponents. Larsson might not do much scoring, but he's an absolute workhorse defensively. Can't believe the Sabres paid Girgensons $2.2M but let Larry walk.

You don't need to rub it in :(
For real, you guys made a real good under-the-radar signing here. I'm gonna miss Larry.

Thanks for the insight. It’s always nice to hear from fans about an under-the-radar player. These signings don’t always look sexy but it’s nice to hear we have someone with value.

These signings have been very smart so far. Rebuilding the bottom 6 in an attempt to allow the top 6 to focus on what they have been hired to do... score.

It still hasn’t been proven that this top 6 can score at a pace that will get this team into the playoffs, but this is the season the organization seems to be putting the pressure on them to step up.

If they fail I think Armstrong has the excuse he needs to “shake it up” and get the draft picks he can actually control.

Is this adjusted to consider Larson, Larsson, and Larsen all the same?

Yeah. It says it is adjusted. Although I suspect not to include Larsen, as that is the Danish and Norwegian version, which makes it feel more than just a difference in spelling. I could find Hansen (most common Norwegian, fairly popular in Denmark, but I expect Jensen to be number 1 in Denmark) further down on the list, so it's Hansson at 14 and Hansen at 96. So probably not including Larsen.
