Deangelo showing hes a smart offensive player who knows where to go and how to calmly run a PP

hes weak defending against bigger forwards but hes more than good enough to offset that

Hes the best value on the team hands down

3 goals making 925k

DET LA MIN up. Big night for the tank if we can get the result we deserve.

Marc Staal is awful. These prospects are that bad they can't beat out Staal for a roster spot.

We should have given up two goals against about a minute after each of our goals scored. Another deadly trend that's starting this season. We always find a new niche to suck at.

and Trouba has a strong sshot but his offensive instincts are doodoo. I’d rather have Tony or Fox on PP1

Agreed. Trouba gets a ton of shots on net and makes decent cross ice passes but there just seems to be something lacking in his offensive game.

You’re never as bad as you look on a 4 game losing streak. Winning this game would help get this team on track big time

He just seems to make the wrong play every time on the PP lol. Put him on PP2 to be the trigger man, he's not a PPQB.

Being the youngest team in the league, with many top prospects still developing or not even in the league yet.
Someone give Quinn the message then. Staples Andersson to the bench when he doesn't get an occassional shift with a scrub. Kakko with mariginally more minutes. Develop all you want. I have a lot of patience for the process. But if you are going all out for a win with this line up, I'm sorry but there's a disconnect.

I get that sparse minutes is part of developing a player, but Andersson in particular isn't getting a chance. 3 shots in the 1st period but he's going to stick to burying Lias.

So they don't really get the "youngest team" and "developing" excuses when they just ride vets all season long. Quinn is trying to beat Arizona, not build a future cup team. That's his prerogative and how he preserves a job but I'm not going to brush off rough periods as growing pains.
