Exactly. He is now a UFA for Seattle. I don't see him choosing to sign there when he can wait 2 weeks and choose his own destiny.
I read an article that stated what I wrote. It was obviously incorrect but the reality my thoughts on Landeskog are not.

So I'm assuming we have a 3 day dead spot in transactions waiting for the expansion draft right? Then hopefully we'll get some actual player movement and believable rumors to talk about instead of the dumb shit getting argued about now. At this point, I'm hoping Armstrong doesn't trade any of Kuemper, Dvo, Garland and Chych and makes a deal for a good young scorer to give us something to root for next season. All this talk of doom and gloom tanking is depressing, especially considering there's zero chance we'll have luck in the lottery. Our shot for a generational player is in 3 years.

Absolutely nobody on this list I would mind losing, and quite a few I really wish someone would take if Seattle doesn't.

Bunting and Pitlick the most productive from last season, but no tears from me if they go.
Just curious since I haven't followed the Coyotes very closely but just noticed his name on the expansion list. How has his career seemingly stagnated after being a highly-promising prospect and putting up decent numbers a few years ago?
Is it just a case of a need for a change of scenery or has he pretty much reached his peak in terms of being a prospect?

Honestly, I think it’s entirely possible they don’t select anyone we have on a one-way contract.m because they don’t like any of our players. Maybe they just take a crappy UFA that they don’t want.

I 100% believe they are taking Pitlick which sucks, but I honestly kind of like Hunt.

I like Pitlick a lot. Much more than Lyubushkin or Fischer. For some reason I don’t see Seattle taking him. Soon to be 30, 1.75aav, and I think they’re going to take some talented and expensive vets up top. Might prefer cheaper/younger in that slot. I hope so anyway. I like Pitlick’s work ethic. The type of hard working vets I want for the tank.
