And I’ve read on these boards that Kulich is untouchable for Carlo. You can’t get fan bases to agree on much, lol.
I would do it, maybe some of our fans love Kulich too much, but we need legit players in the squad right now and almost any young player should be available.

Carlo is by far and large the easiest Bruins defender to part with. He is literally a magnet for bad bounces, bad penalties, and bad positioning.
I feel like the rest of the league doesn't see how many pucks deflect off him and go in... I swear Carlo has more goals go off him into our own net than he has scored on the opposing team in his career.

Carlo is probably the most expensive. Would be the ask on Peeke, Geekie or Carlo from LA?

LA would have Gavrikov and Moore available or maybe someone like Danault or Fiala if the right deal comes along.

Byfield, Turcotte, Clarke, Laferriere and Kempe aren't being moved.

So he's not that good anymore and your guys here want to sell him for a lot of money, but at the same time they're hiding the information that his game falls?

It's strange, I read on these boards that Boston will take prospects and picks, because you have very little of that. But Kulich plays in the NHL and looks fine, of course, if you take into account the adjustment for our oppressive team. He is a very good young player who is ready for the NHL.

I absolutey would take Kulich. What would Buffalo want in return? Carlo?

I feel like something around Moore and Carlo has the makings of a good hockey trade. Both provide each team with a need and both signed for about the same term and money.

Fans like to over exaggerate sample sizes over a couple dozen games in either direction. He is 28, he didn’t forget how to play, he doesn’t have an injury, and he isn’t aging out. Pasta isn’t suddenly Gustav Nyqvist because he has started out scoring at that pace either. Two weeks ago Bruins fans were screaming for signing Brazeau to a long term deal before he priced himself too high. Now Bruins fans have him as first to get scratched to make room for Wahlstrom.

Whats the scouting report on Jokiharju?
We have him for many years mostly playing in the top 4 RD. Although I don't like him, but he has some tools that he can't always put together. I would say he is not a good fit for guys like Dahlin and Power, because he likes to move the puck and join the attack, he is not terrible, but rather average in everything. But this is at the Buffalo level, who knows, maybe he will succeed in another team or not. I don't think he has much value.

Would accept him as a dump from Buffalo

Kulich + Jokirhaju + 3rd round pick for Carlo

Carlo
Coyle
Small add
For
Cozens
Jokiharju
Krebs

Coyle fills hole that moving Cozens creates. Jokiharju backfills for Carlo, Krebs backfills for Coyle. So essentially Bruins upgrade Coyle to Cozens in return for Buffalo upgrading Jokiharju to Carlo, and the small add on Boston’s side is to make up for getting Krebs.

Fold the franchise type move if Buffalo did this lol

Many Buffalo fans I have seen want to move out their younger players for more established vets, especially a top four RHD. The main trade is Carlo for Cozens, the peripherals are simply to make the cap work better and fill spots.

watch half a dozen bruins games. He's the reincarnation of Hal Gill. He is big, but timid and isn't physical at all, losing net front battles left and right. He somehow never completely blocks shots, whether it be commitment to the block or sheer bad luck. I don't get why we've held onto him for so long with his value constantly decreasing IMO.

Probably because he is a career +123 while getting nothing but hard matchups and zone starts.

Flip out Joki and Krebs, add Kulich and add a first plus second from Bs

We have very little cap space we can’t add waiver fodder.

Kulich would be perfect for Boston as it is where the Czechs thrive

No thx, we keep Cozens.

Actually it is because Braz is in reality a glacially slow AHLer who mostly sucks.
