It is one of the lowest points for this franchise, there is literally nothing to cheer for, no stars on the team and no great prospects and horrible boat anchor contracts galore. We are only hoping to win the lottery. It sounds like my long term financial plan.

If you want a shorter term financial plan, talk to Paul D about how to add 2 more zeros to your totals. :sarcasm:

It’s ****ing ridiculous that Molson won’t fire this guy big contract or not Habs don’t suffer from money. This is an Insult to the intelligent Habs fan base. Saying Bergevin can fix this and comparing us to Tampa bay

Meh. We need to hit a home run at the draft, plus that pick need to survive the current regime somehow. I'm really not holding my breath here, it's a long shot no matter what.

Quite the sobering thought. This is a never-ending nightmare.

How does Bergevin look in the mirror after destroying this franchise. The people of Quebec deserve so much better. This is their team! Sad
Its funny to me like

He grabs a hold of the franchise and its 3rd overall pick, huge tool to get his plan started and im sure he's thinking "pfff at least it cant get worse than the last season they had and me getting this free top 3 pick.."

6 years later and he's almost gotten two top 5 picks since lol........

I was one of those. Came to Montreal every year with wife and daughter for a home stand. First time in 6 year we didn’t come and won’t be till Bergevin is gone
My wife is mad. She loves smoked meat

I usually catch a couple games a year at the Bell Center, California trip, and one game between Calgary/Edmonton depending on prices when the team runs threw. This year I went down with some friends for the Edmonton game right before Christmas and that’s it. Shouldn’t have even done that. Was not paying for anything else. Lucky for me they scheduled the California trip at the beginning of the season which conflicted with work. Will not be going to Montreal or Cali again next year as well if something doesn’t change.

I got

Dahlin
gap
Svechnikov
Zadina
gap
Smith
Bouchard
Boqvist
Hughes
Dobson
Looking at your ranking, MB will ask Timmins to draft gap, he is ranked 2nd! Will also trade up (probably with Pac) to get his brother gap 5th... Would make an incredible line with Cap Space...
Also, those two players would remind him of his favorite designer...

Honestly, the future for this team is pretty bleak if Price and Weber keep getting injured, and the next lockout will only be in 2022 :(

We'll probably be needing another batch of compliance buyouts by that time.

Anyways, we're onto the Jets.
