that was a fun game to be at

glad gauthier finally got the ketchup bottle open. hopefully this is the start of a lot more goals

leo is by far the ducks best player. the speed, vision, hands, passing. everything is already there. he just needs to work on faceoffs and finishing and hope he can play with better linemates. he's got the potential to be a superstar. but we all knew this already

helleson had some moments where he looked out of place, but he was solid otherwise. i wouldn't give up on him just yet and i hope he gets more chances with fowler out

zellwegger stood out on both ends and especially on the PP. hopefully a sign of things to come, because we all know the potential is there

zegras has had the soul sucked out of him by cronin. it's really sad to watch. he was decent tonight, but its obvious that something isn't right with him

killorn is just awful. it's like i'm watching a beer leaguer trying to hang with NHL players. guy is cooked

I saw Vish was attending the game last night, is he still living in OC? I thought he was in Russia but being originally from Donetsk and the war in Ukraine, he might have moved.

As for the game, we got a nice comeback on the Dead Wings, just fine by me.

So Zegras was put back on the wing during the game? I think at least for the whole 3rd period, maybe in 2nd too. I was about to turn it off the whole 2nd period and I was too busy wallowing. We'll see how this continues after this. Nice win though. Great to see offenseman Zellweger bringing some of that offense to this team.

I was busy sleeping through another certain sporting event last night. Am I led to believe that the Anaheim Ducks scored six legal NHL hockey goals that all counted, in one game?

Edit - first six goal game for the Ducks since a 7-4 win vs Philly on Oct 28th of last year. A few five goal efforts in between

just watched the game on replay, and did anyone else notice that Zegras looked straight-up depressed on the ice? When he scored and when he was on the ice for goal #3

I hope he is able to start having fun again.
He still did a stick flip after his goal. I think it’s more a case of “1 goal is a start, but doesn’t erase my lack of production” kind of thing. He was excited when Strome scored the EN and seemed his normal self when the game was clearly won.

I definitely noticed it. I hate reading into things, but it was conspicuous enough that it bothered me.

One thing I will say to counter it: he was one of the guys happily getting on Gauthier when he scored. Maybe this is an over correction as part of the maturing process and he'll come back a bit.

This is kind of how I feel. The guy's expecting a lot more out of himself.
