This dump Kampf and Reaves then sign Perry and Toews (if he thinks he’s healthy enough for a comeback) both for 1mil or less. Then use the spare cap+Klingbergs for a defensive upgrade. Guess we might have to look into a goalie too after Woll going down tonight
 
Did Perry supply booze to the underage players on Chicago? And maybe got busted by the cops. That would freaking hilarious.
 
Perry would be great. I would just say no flossing with Marners mom and we are good.

Of course the leafs should sign him.

Until I know what he did, I’m fine assuming the Blackhawks are just being overly strict due to their recent past and this has less to do with Perry’s conduct and more to do with the Blackhawks needed to be as strict as possible due to their recent history.

I can’t be held accountable for screwing this call up, because I don’t have all the information.

Sign Perry, for all I know he drank too much and threw up in a sponsors lap

That Bedard rumor is pure garbage but with that said, she is one hot MILF.

Who knows what he did, did he wear Black socks on White sock day? Did he eat his veggies before he at his steak? Did he eat chicken on Taco Tuesday? Oohhhh maybe he yelled at a snowflake? Short of committing a crime, why should he get a second chance? If we are all judged on our worst day, all of us would be unemployed divorced tar and feathered leppers.

The best I can determine is it involved booze.

The guy has a tangible body part that this team is missing. A spine.

What? He is a gutless big mouth...always pulling the tough guy act when he is surrounded by team mates or officials. Maybe he's cut the ridiculous diving out of his game, but sure he has a spine, that is wobbly and weak. I also have heard from multiple sources that are in the know....he's just a much an idiot off the ice too.

The posts in this thread are ridiculous , we already know there was no criminal act it was something to do with an interaction between Perry and a team employee thats what the team has confirmed . Time was getting drunk and doing something stupid was just part of the deal when you have a bunch of millionaire athelets with too much free time and money on their hands , no big deal . Now you throw in a team with a bad reputation for concealing multiple sexual assaults and you get a hyper sensitive organization that is in full blown { pardon the possible pun } Woke Mode . There is absolutely zero reason any team would be afraid to hire him , heck even Buttman has said he doesn't even know if he would make him come in for an interview . Do you honestly think if he did something heinous it would be covered up ? Do you think Buttman would hesitate to step in ? Maybe look at how he reated to past issues with players and see if he was indecisive .

Pass. Why have the distraction and risk? Too many players that are just as good and younger to acquire.

I am guessing Cleveland is really hating the Deshaun Watson contract now.

Bring him in. And yes, mindful of what should prevent him, short of that, bring him in.

Bring him in because he is ill-natured. I think our group is happy to the point that losing has become a process that requires "understanding its root causes and being ok with it" because "there's always a next time."

My money's on Perry being a big Apollo Creed fan.

This is probably what happened but it was probably pretty bad. Maybe some racist shit to a person a lot more powerful than himself. He’d rather sign off his few million on his deal than get cancelled in public for the rest of his life.

Couldn't Montreal have terminated Price's contract for this same reason?? Why is Perry thrown out to the wolves but others are pampered and protected? Seems like a double standard.
