Same. And I hear ya about this begin just the beginning. Waiting for the shoe to drop at work. Just bidding my time until then.

On the upside, my fiancee matched into a residency program and finds out tomorrow where she'll be. Though I guess she is also waiting for the shoe to drop on the gov't putting out the call for all graduating med students to begin working in hospitals earlier.

I just prepped my office to work remotely. Everyone is set up for incoming calls has lap tops and calls will go to everyone’s cell phone when they are on call. Thankfully my business is mostly over the phone and via e-mail and text.

As per staying home, Just gotta find things to do. We will get through this and if everyone pitches in to help by simply staying home then we will be out of this sooner.

Hockey coming back this season doesn’t look good.

Ive been at it since last Tuesday when my office closed. Its now officially closed until May 11th.

The first few days, I sat in the same spot working/taking video conferences for 8-9 hours. My only piece of advice is it's important to get into some sort of routine. Im blocking off noon-1 currently so I can dedicate it to lunch, taking my daughter for a walk around the block, etc. For the past 20 years, I've never gone more than a few days being away from NYC. It's all very strange and surreal.

Yeah, we are already reducing hours and cut in person appointments and in person contact. I’m ready if we have to pull the plug and go fully remote.

I still see a lot of people on the roads, it has to cut in half by Monday or this thing is going to last even longer.

We’ve been mandatory remote since Thursday. Last Thursday.

I’m watching a replay of Ryan Strome embarrassing himself against Colorado. It’s worse the third time I’ve seen it

With people in lockdown, I almost sort of see their argument.

Not saying I agree with it, but I see it.
You can buy all the games on the online stores through your system and download. They are not essential in any way.

Essential retail are things you can die without having. Hopefully they get fined and go bankrupted sooner.

What if you want to buy a console? Nothing keeps a person indoors better than video games lol.
Idk, it's a rough spot.

I saw a packed salon on my walk today. Now that's some clear-cut bullshit. People out here tryna look good for quarantine.

Gamestop is a dying business and probably knows that if they do close the stores they'll probably never reopen. Good riddance. Never had a good experience buying games from there.

You mean you never liked getting a $5 credit for your used cartridge towards a new $60 cartridge that sells for $40 anywhere else?

I read online that you can basically just sell fake them SNES carts and they won’t even check to see if they’re legit.

Like, they won’t even put it in a Snes and turn it on.

For example you could put a Chrono Trigger label on Super Mario World and they wouldn’t even realize it until a customer had already bought it and gotten screwed. At that point I’m guessing Gamestop would say sorrrrryyyyyyy you’re stuck with it.

So yea. I never even considered buying retro games for there. And of course I’d never buy a regular game there either so I can have pre order bonuses and memberships shoved down my throat.

Just an awful, awful business

Made two videos before deleting games from my DVR: Buch’s tying goal against the Aves and Ziba’s OT 5th goal against the Caps.

P.S. Strome got no puck luck in that game against Aves. Happens to the best of them and in the grand scheme of things it wouldn’t make a difference on the Rangers standings but would have taken away from the joy when Buchnevich scored. #silverlining, #glasshalfull

I'm working from home which is weird and although I can do my job from home it's definitely less convenient than being in the office. And working off of a laptop when I'm used to two large 4k monitors is frustrating.

Plus while I'm home social distancing, my wife has to go into work everyday to the hospital and be around tons of COVID patients and give exams to some of them too even with protective measures you never know, so the stress of her possibly getting sick (and then me) is pretty annoying.
