We have the choice of the Blues' 2022 2nd or the Rangers' 2023 2nd for that pick if we get the 2022 NYR 1st. The question is how Chevy feels about this draft.
Exactly, I’d probably go for next year’s pick, honestly. I think that draft is supposed to be deeper and they should be relatively similar positions overall.

Hard to say how deep it's going to be well into the 2nd, good chance that the Rags make the playoffs again and that pick could be lower than 55th.

If the Jets have a few guys they like in that range I have no issues with them taking the sure thing at 55th.

Copp playing less than 50% of playoffs games is still possible.
During the 1987-88 Stanley Cup Final, Game 4 was suspended because of a power failure.
The individual statistics were still counted and Edmonton Players were credited with 19 (16 wins, 2 loses, 1 Suspended) games and Boston Bruins with 23 games (12 wins, 10 loses, 1 Suspended)

So we need to hope that the Rangers don't get involved in a suspended game. However I believe a suspended game might not be include in the actual totals.

Thanks Rags…. I’m back to hating you now :D
f*** the Rangers! They’re garbage at developing prospects and they’re lucky they had a Norris Trophy winner and a PPG play driving winger force their way on to the team … and by extension, I guess we’re also lucky!

Please Understand
We have the Blues pick which if my calculations are correct is 55th.

So after tonight if the Rags win we pick.

14th
29th-32nd
55th (or we can opt for the Rags 2023 2nd rounder)

Did the Wild sign their 2020 1st rounder? They're due a compensatory 2nd rounder this year if they don't, which will bump everyone from pick 55 down one.

So far Copp has played in 14 of 14 games. If the Rags go back to back game 7's that gives them an added 14 games.

So at this point even if Copp doesn't play in another game for the rest of the playoffs and the Rangers play the maximum number of games they can play from here on out.

He will have played in 14 of 28 games. Exactly 50%.

Looks like another 1st round pick for our Jets...

Strange cheering for the Rags...

But beggars can't be choosers...

And thanks Andrew for helping us out after you departed - pure gold...
