I thought Jack Ryan first season was okay and at sometimes pretty crappy. I liked the idea in theory but it just felt underwhelming to me. I couldn't even finish season 2

My oldest played that at the movie theatre on the way out sometimes. I remember thinking that ripping out a persons spine as part of a child’s game was a bit much but no one ever seemed to react to it. That’s ok but Harry Potter was going to teach children to be pagans. What a world.
So I was scrolling quickly and I could've sworn it said "pegging" instead of Pagans and I thought well not I'm DEFINITELY not watching any Harry Potter movies.

With all the additional lore JK Rowling keeps adding to the Harry Potter universe, who knows, maybe wizards were big into pegging.

At some point, they're going to remake The Hunt for Red October and it's going to be so bad.

Submarine movies have a decent hit rate, though. Das Boot (long but worth it), U571 (good compared to stuff today). There's another one I'm forgetting.

If they do, I won't see it out of spite. The original is easily one of my favorite movie and book too. K-19 Widowmaker? Gray Lady Down another old classic sub movie.

God I love hunt for red October. Those kind of movies are just so good and unique with its tension.

The Bad Batch primier episode was really good. It's also 1 glue and 14 minutes long too which was sweet.

So like stick, wood, fabric, gorilla, super, hot, or white? All have different drying times.

Come on, it's Star Wars. It's obviously Force glue.

Seriously though, it was a good episode. I have to give Disney credit on the streaming side they've hit it out of the park with their Star Wars shows between Mandalorian, the last season of The Clone Wars, and now The Bad Batch. If they keep this quality up I don't know if I even want/need more movies.

First not all video games are for kids. Just like not all movies aren't for children. Second Mortal Kombat was the game that started the whole age rating system for games. It was a huge controversy when it was released.
That didn’t stop kids from playing Mortal Kombat back in the day, and it isn’t stopping them from playing Call of Duty or GTA today. Hell, my boss plays MK with her son.

Personally I didn’t like the new MK movie. I’d ask why there’s no tournament here, but it’s so obvious that WB wants it to be an R rated MCU, so that’ll surely come later. I like that it had some nods to the games, but it had too much exposition and not enough fighting (to be fair, it did fighting better than the MCU).

I didn’t like the original MK movie either, it wasn’t cheesy enough.

Apparently there is a strip club buried somewhere in GTA? The reality is that kids have almost always found what's out in the world if they are curious. Some parents accept that and just try to steer the process in a manageable direction. I know some that panic and try to keep their kids under tight control. Eventually I think that does the kids a disservice.

Finally finished Sons of Anarchy. I don't think it ended as poorly as I was told it did. Kinda thought that was the only way it could end. Tear jerker for me when he said goodbye to his actual boys as well as the club. Buoyed the series though for sure. Anyone who watched that, have you watched Mayans?

I never cared for the Mayans portion of SoAs story but I gave their show a shot. Kinda forced myself through season 1 and then lost interest an episode into season 2.

I don't think I'm going to try, just wanted to see if anyone felt it was worth it.

I don’t think the quality of actors/ characters for the show is anywhere near as good. I like the two main brothers in Mayans but other than that it’s very miss.

I absolutely loved Sons of Anarchy minus maybe the going to Ireland parts but I gave Mayans like 5 episodes when they first aired and I was just so bored. Been debating going back to it since its 3 seasons in now and renewed for a 4th. If you start it and think it's good past 5 episodes lemme know.

I have some other stuff to finish up but I don't think I'm going to even try. SOA was so good.

Finally saw the last season of Vikings. It was ok I guess, not great. I did like the the last few episodes and the ending in NA though.

If you want to see Brent Burns get his head chopped off this is your show.

Like many shows even though it had an ending it sort of fizzled out. It was great right up until the end though.
