When I was a little kid, like before there were any of those Michael Keaton Batman films and the only Batman films or TV were was the 1966 Batman movie and that TV series with Adam West and Burt Ward, my stepbrother and I would play Batman and Robin and we'd tuck towels over the back of our shirts and those were our capes.
I used to watch the late 60's Batman series as a kid, it was already well into reruns by that time. I pretty much saw every episode about 58 times as a kid.
RIP to Adam West.

That was a great show to watch as it was airing. Music was great and it was an interesting story compared to most other garbage. Definitely had some feels.

I'm currently re-watching Irregular at Magic Highschool again after rereading the novels. Also re-watched Your Name again.

The Irregular at Magic High anime was very much incomplete. I wanted to read the novels because the anime was decent but very unfinished. Like Re-Zero, which I'd also like to read. But I don't have a good place to read the novels, so if you have any suggestions, I'm listening.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I don't know that I could get through reading in Japanese at this point. It's been many years since I've studied the language.

The first season was great. Such spot on casting and a good story. I was worried on how they would extend the show beyond 1 season so I've yet to go and watch season 2 or 3. I will get around to it eventually.

Just finished Kill la Kill. It was awful. Like every cliche that every non-anime fan makes fun of wrapped into one show. The last several episodes were at least bearable, sort of. Maybe...

It is pretty overrated garbage. Every single show from that company is just like that..
When it was on Toonami i made sure to close my blinds and lock my doors hoping if i got robbed i had time to switch the channel

Yeah, I can understand that feeling.
Would this have been a longer series, or had it had a second season or something, I doubt I would have made it through. That was one of the worst things I've watched in some time. I'm really, really glad I saw something as good as Boku Dake ga ina Machi between Love Live! and Kill la Kill or I may have quit anime. Well probably not, but man were those bad.

Man reading Dressrosa in real time was insane, especially with Oda needing to take breaks for his health. It isn't a bad arc either, just insanely long.
Good news is the current arc is fantastic.

Michael Nyqvist died from lung cancer today. He was 56.
He played in John Wick, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played With Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest, just to name a few. Good actor, totally sucks.
