The league needs to mandate that Calgary inbred south sit down so the game can be filmed
Right, the players looked they were coming out of a tunnel near the boards because of the crowd blocking the camera view.

Although not nearly to the extent of Dallas, I went to a recent Iron Maiden concert and this D-Bag and his girlfriend were standing up and dancing in the upper bowl and blocking the peoples view. I got grumpy and called the usher to tell them to sit down. Usher told them to sit. Once the usher left, they got up again. Poor young couple behind them were frustrated but found some empty seats so they could actually see the fkn concert. Some real inconsiderate D-Bags everywhere including YEG.

I hope Henrique stays out for another game. They won without him, give him another couple days to fully heal. We will need him as we move further in. Winning lineups are tough to change, it’s not like it’s McDrai coming back after an injury.
If it's a high ankle sprain I'm sure Henrique will be fully recovered by early November. Either he can play or he can't, an extra two days of rest likely means little. But I can't say that I really know one way or another.

As long as the officiating is somewhat balanced, fair and unbiased I agree.

Also we don't have to enjoy the biased shitshow media "now" anymore than we had to enjoy it when Edmonton didn't have a good professional hockey team.

Here's a question you might know the answer to, who coined the term "decade of darkness"?

I wonder who goes out for Henrique? Carrick, Brown and Ryan have all been pretty good and I doubt they take Mcleod or Foegele out of the lineup. It's looking like the series will be heavily rigged towards Dallas to get PP's then we'll need our best PKers in the lineup.
I would only play Henrique if he is actually at a point where he can really make an impact in his role, not that he’s just somewhat physically capable of playing now. I don’t touch the PK guys, they have been superb and looks like we will need them for 10+ minutes each game. Likely Carrick, and he has played well, but for me that would be the only guy I would make the switch for at this time. Lose a game, then you reanalyze.

I love how out of touch with reality they are, calling it a boring game before all ^^ that lmao. Saying playoff hockey has become "too structured" they still think run-and-gun hockey is viable, and they're terrible at it haha.
Lol maybe it will be again when they finally make the playoffs in 10 years.

Yesterday afternoon, someone posted a picture of him exiting the plane with that finger in a splint, so you have to assume its broken. It must have happened during the Vancouver series. His shot and faceoffs have been subpar over the last few games, so I'm guessing it happened around game 4 or 5 in the previous series. A bit worrisome. Hopefully he's able to overcome it.
The man played two full rounds on one leg 2 years ago I seriously doubt he will allow a broken finger to stop him

One thing I like about this team is how they kill narrative opportunities for opponents.

Third time's the charm for the Kings and they get a split on the road? Nah Oilers win three straight comfortably.

Canucks getting a miracle comeback in game 1, coming back to tie it late in game 4, dominate to get a late winner in game 5? Nah Oilers still coming back every time to force game 7.

Canucks down 3 goals in game 7 and get a goal in the third, then another, making it a game? Nah Oilers not allowing a single shot on goal the rest of the way.

Stars coming back from 2 goals down to tie it late, Connor missing a sure goal in OT? Nah, it's fine, Connor scored the winner anyway.

I don't think it was a splint, it was bandaged on the boarding stairs just like it was on the bench.

Just to note that was also just prior to the Stars getting the tying goal so a penalty there would've changed the game appreciably and we probably win in Regulation.

Its funny how far out Harley is from changing. NHL allows some latitude in line changes but that one is so bad he player coming in almost runs into Harley over 10ft from the boards.

Pavelski is given special grace on linechanges because he can't get over the boards without a stool

I agree. There's 8 stars touching the ice, and one is very clearly in the leeway granted (leg over boards), and I'll give the dude near the center line as probably being pretty close. But the dude at Toyota logo is able to get in his own teammate's way he is so far from the bench haha.

And even if I give you two... THAT'S STILL 6!

Good point. Although his game doesn't rely on speed as much as other stars. A broken finger can interfere with his shot, which is one of his primary weapons, as well as his faceoffs. So technically it could actually affect him more than a sprained ankle. But we'll see.

Am I in the wrong here? The guy has never made a pass in his life. Imagine being the best player on earth and one of your linemates who you're supposed to be banking pucks off of tries to do it all himself on every touch.

It's also no coincidence when you put a player capable of making passes there (Draisaitl) McDavid's 5 on 5 offence skyrockets. We need another playmaker on that line, RNH is soft as shit and Hyman is the definition of a puck hog.

Love how the team looks overall, Holloway replacing RNH or Hyman on that line seems to make a ton of sense.
Yes, yet you're here posting the same rubbish over and over again and even adding more rubbish with the RNH comment who has been nothing short of stellar in the last 2 series and deserves way more respect than whatever that was you posted. Sometimes you just need to take an L and move on and this is one of those times for you.

See a lot of posts lamenting that Nurse once again inadvertently deflected a puck that ends up in on the Oilers net (care of Seguin this time). I was ranting about the same thing in my Oilers group chat until TNT showed a close-up that Dadonov actually redirected it with his stick. So tip of the cap to him on a skill play to tie it late instead of lucky bounce.
