Good, thats basically 5 vs 4.5 when he's on the ice.

Do you think Reaves is ever going to be on the ice with any of the big 4? If I'm Boston and I see the Leafs go out of their way to line match Maroon and Reaves I am celebrating
He's a fourth liner... Why would he ever be on the ice with the big four and who said anything about him being on the ice with the big four? Your post makes no sense... So when Maroon is on the ice it's a 5 v 4.5 for us, but if Reaves is on Boston is celebrating? Wouldn't that in your eyes mean we're playing 4.5? so doesn't it just even out? we're both playing 4.5....

The focus for Treliving this deadline was clearly defense oriented players.

The problem is the Leafs don't play a defense oriented system. They never run a trap for any extended period of time. The focus under Keefe has always been offense.

Dewar will be lucky if he even sniffs the ice.

Keefe will play him like five minutes a game. As soon as the Leafs fall behind Dewar will be stapled to the bench. This guy doesn't move the needle in any way.

It's just another wasted pick.

Another lost chance at drafting a late round gem. Another wasted opportunity to add someone significant to the roster. Another lackluster deadline leaving fans wanting.

Another GM who seems to think cups are won on the backs of bottom of the roster scrubs who can't score goals.
Treliving probably talked to Keefe about the roster and needs .

PK help is definitely nice.

Overall we got a little better over the last week but I don't think we did enough to move the needle.

Fast, and quick. Decent shot. Has a bit of skill. Smaller player, but will drop the gloves as a lightweight. Very responsible defensively. Mentally tough. Mediocre on FO's.

Good on PK, will create a few chances SH on breakaways.

Stats are low because of his heavy D zone, PK usage.

One of my favorite players. Sad, and a bit puzzled to see him go, as he is still a RFA, and likely won't be costly to re-sign. IMO, he's a better player than Duhaime, who got a 3rd. Might even beat him in a fight, even though he gives up 3-4 " and 25 lbs. to him.
Thank you for the scouting report!

I like it, nothing fancy but looks like he can help out defensively and on the PK

I also like that he's an RFA, if he fits in we can keep him and move out somebody on a bigger ticket like Kampf

Lyubushkin
Edmundson :amazed:
Dewar

Plan the parade lmfao.
You see, I actually understand the master plan. Hear me out.

The Leafs are guaranteed per series to:
- Lose 1-2 players to headshots that are not considered penalties and see no suspensions
- Lose 1-2 players to suspensions for committing acts half as blatant as what they encounter

So, you see, they will be burning through a lot of players. If they're smart, they should monitor the officials assigned per game and skate the B team in those games. As they poorly allocated most of the salary to a handful of people, that means they can form 2 B teams.

If he can skate and PK I'll take it. Bit small for the playoffs but w.e.

9 ES goals is more than Elias Lindholm so lets spin it that way:). Lots of hits. I like their bottom 6 more than their defense now. Good nab Tree man!
