Yes and, minus that one error, yours was a terrific post.46 points is still a lot!

True. I think we all agree, there is a LOT of work to do.Well, he’s the only one getting Bedard minutes and Bedard treatment, he would have been scratched many times had he played under Torts regardless of the draft position
Meh... Cole Caufield is smaller and he does really well. His size will always be a problem..
Why would Sid want to be traded to a bottom feeder just to babysit, when he could instead go to a contender and compete for another cup?Why do you say that?
Chicago has a lot of young prospects. Pittsburgh is going to be a bottom dweller who could use those prospects. Sid doesn't want to play in Pittsburgh when there is nothing to play for.
Trade Sid to Chicago, let him mentor Bedard and then resign Sid in Pittsburgh when he wants to retire.
That's fair. You are probably right. Why would Sid want to be traded to a bottom feeder just to babysit, when he could instead go to a contender and compete for another cup?
I agree with this, but I can't blame people for being skeptical, considering he's ahead of Donato by one point, and Teravainen by just three. Those guys are similarly on an AHL team devoid of talent, and I'd expect Bedard to lap them by at least 10-15 points. Instead, he's doubled them in negative plus minus with -40, while only playing four more minutes of ice time. Haven't watched too many Blackhawks this year, but I just expected more.Re : "he won’t be a superstar."
I disagree. He has issues but he could be a perennial 100 point player. After all, he's going to finish with 60+ points on what is, at best, an AHL team. Remember he is 19 and he has ZERO talent around him.

This is not how you build a generational talent. The Hawks are going to ruin this kid.
I would love him to prove me and many others wrong.Re : "he won’t be a superstar."

His numbers warranted that, to be honestAlso, him being touted as generational before he even played one game in the NHL is a joke.
Sure, his numbers against teenagers. That guarantees nothing. Also, how many generational talents can there realistically be at the same time? His numbers warranted that, to be honest
You sure it has nothing to do with him being a gigantic liability as well?Because he’s on a horrific team with sieve goal tending and he’s on the ice the most of forwards
I'm not seeing anywhere in that article that supports what you're claiming. Just because some dudes say in speculation without having any facts to back it up doesn't it make it a rumor.Yikes! There has been plenty of stuff floating around...

Connor Bedard’s frustration reaches new level and lands him in massive trade rumours!
Insiders had to address the chatter in Chicago before it got out of hand. Full story below:www.hockeyfeed.com
