Not really true. Bedar will have a pretty solid five man unit to play with. After that? Nothing much.

Eh.. other than on the power play, I'm not seeing these 5 like you are. Reichel probably isn't playing on the same line as Bedard, and Seth Jones isn't playing every shift with Bedard at the backend on the ice. Sure he'll have Taylor Hall (who isn't what he once was but still a very good player) but then what? Taylor Raddysh? Corey Perry's corpse? Going on 36 year old Nick Foligno? Connor "barely any offense" Murphy on the backend? Andreas "zero hockey sense" Athanasiou?

The only guy other than Hall who might be on Bedard's line who can keep up (speed wise, hockey sense, offensive instincts, etc) is Tyler Johnson. Korchinski IF he makes the team will help out too at the backend. Now I will say Ryan Donato and Phillipp Kurashev are serious wild cards... but so far neither guy has shown that kind of offensive ability at the NHL level yet.

He will likely be fed a ton of offensive zone starts with Hall, whoever his other linemate is, Seth Jones, and his partner. He will play a bunch with Jones and Hall, at a minimum. All depends on who his other linemate ends up being, and who Seth Jones is partnered with, but that's not bad at all.

Ehh, Reichel if he can keep up what he did, is solid, can't think of any body else on the level of Havlat and Sharp. They also had more depth in T&Ks sophomore year. Forgot we got Hall, but pretty much nothing after that.

Michael Teply will be the surprise of the camp. Bedards future running mate.

Hall-Bedard-AA

Jones and whoever else. If those are the linemates Bedard is playing with he'll be good to go, but the rest of the team will have a hard time competing, which isn't really bad for you guys because you'll get a few more solid draft picks.

He's on that level, IMO.

I think he is too, but I think it will take him a year or two to meet it. I think a Jack Hughes like exponential development curve is what we're going to see as he gets accustomed to NHL pace and better talent is moved in around him.

He'll be playing in his own zone every shift with 3/4 of his linemates.

I could see Raddysh or Johnson on his right side. Someone who acts as a net front presence.

It's not like Bedard and Hall need help with shooting or zone entries.

I’m guessing lines will be fluid for a while. I’m sure Reichel and Bedard will get games together along with an assortment of other line make ups. I just want them both on PP1, which I think is far more important.
If Reichel, Hall and Bedard aren't on pp1 with a guy like TJ or Raddysh and Jones it's poor coaching until it proves it doesn't work.

I would like to see reichel with AA on the 2nd line they had good chesitry last year. I would go with tyler or raddysh. those are the 2 forwards who might hold the most value at the TDL so that would make sense and give him a bit more vet presence and better D. having 2 basically rookies on the top line I think will make for a bad d line and could stunt some growth. I still think there is a move or 2 left before the season. plus we could be active on waiver wire.
