A lot of great performances. Wild were no slouch.

The Wild generally always put in an honest effort and are a good team. However, as long as the Jets play a high tempo game and are really focused, they are a real difficult team to beat.

Watched the game on a 1.5 hr delay, my heart can't take watching these games live, too much anxiety during the stoppages and period breaks.

This was a stressful game, the Jets dominated all metrics but knowing that the game was only one shot away from being tied, probably the hardest I have clenched. Some scary moments in the 3rd with failed passes through the middle by Laine, Armia and Trouba but overall a solid 3rd by the Jets protecting the lead. Kept pushing and didn't turtle.

Laine made a great play in the 2nd period by the inside of the left circle where I think Stall had an empty net to shoot at and Laine knocked the puck away at the last second. That play might have been the game. He has been criticized by many (including me) at times during this season over his defensive play but props to him for saving that goal.

And Sportsnet broadcast continues to be bad, they made it sound like Wild were dominating in a game where the Jets had 60%+ Corsi and almost 60% xGF%. I considered switching to the Wild broadcast but couldn't bring myself to do it for superstitious reasons.

Helleboy with a Vezina performance. The Jets controlled the pace and were flying out there. I realize it won't happen, but I'd LOVE to see Schief out for just a couple of shifts with Laine & Ehlers - but as long as they win I'm happy. White Out to close the series!
