Great effort in 3rd. 1st was absolute crap. 2nd was a noticeable improvement. 3rd they absolutely went for it. Good comeback even if they did lose in OT.

I liked the lines that MSL finished with.

Ylonen-Dvorak-Slafkovsky were pretty good, as was Monahan-Evans-Anderson.

Gallagher & Pearson should be on the 4th line with the way they're playing. That leaves Armia with Suzuki & Caufield by default. At least he's strong for them on the boards, and can help out defensively.
When Armia is on he's probably the best guy for them. Remember that post season they were so good. The problem is Armia gets complacent. From AHL to 1st line on the Big club says it all.

Good late effort. The first period showed why we need another high pick and also why Allen will help us achieve that goal.

I hope to see more of Ylonen in the top 6.

Slaf keeps showing flashes, just needs to thread things together.

Some lessons to be learned by our coaching staff.
Use a time out at an opportune moment.
3v3 If Suzuki isn't going to be used on the draw play either he or Caufield bench side so they can be pulled if we lose it.
Send out a puck hound like Evans until we get it back.

Yes, I liked the lines too for the reasons you said.

Monahan on the wing can focus on creating plays. Maybe he gets Anderson going.

I'm not crazy about Armia on the 1st line. But his puck protection is useful.
