So is the typical stadium life now 20-30 years? Pretty crazy with how expensive they are especially if taxpayer money is involved. Shibe Park, Veterans Stadium, and JFK Stadium were around forever it felt like. If they are talking of replacing the Linc that’s crazy, greedy talk

The Vet was, I believe, 32 years old.

The Eagles' lease is up in, I think eight years, which would put us at 2032-2033 which will put the Linc at 30 years old.

Damn you’re right. I guess it just feels a lot longer. The difference between the Summer of Love and the 2000’s seems a century apart culturally and technologically. The early 2000’s to 2030 feels more or less like the same era

The plan is to tear down WFC with this new stadium plan. The Linc will obviously be torn down whenever the Eagles get their new stadium.

Quick look and the WFC is tied with six other arenas for 10th oldest arena in the NHL.
oh i forgot wachovia center was its prior name. 96 yea makes sense

Funny...stadiums are considered old and are torn down after 30 years...yet school buildings in this country like in Philly are much much older. Heck prisons are more modern than some schools. Sounds liks we need a DOPE....Department of Private Efficiency.
