I have to agree here. Maybe down a goal in the 3rd you might try that, but in the 1st with a lead isn't good game management.

Good that we have the lead, but man I'm seeing the same Leafs stuff they do every year that pretty much guarantees an early playoff exit.

I counted 5 times that period someone making pretty/low percentage plays that collectively got exactly one shot on net ... the one being from "Sniper" Benoit who even though he was all alone, not surprisingly, did not come close to scoring.

This team is still being way too cute & pretty with the plays and passes or just too determined to get the perfect shot instead of just getting one on or toward the net. Unless they find a way to get that out of their system (they won't) ... well, you know. 8 years of disappointment becomes 9,
