Really not a far-fetched idea. Is there another player on a playoff team who is more valuable to his team and among the league leaders at his position?

The Tampa color commentator is full of Z praise. While I think that Z was a fairly well known quantity among those "in the know", his 4 nations performance elevated him to the forefront of defenseman. and is garnering significant commentary on him.

I think they have played decent enough except when Kucherov’s line was on the ice

A couple of times recently Zach has just picked clean the forwards pocket and took off on a breakaway and scored. He did it against Utah and now Tampa. Pretty slick move by Z.
