You can think that.
The league kind thinks that. He was traded for a conditional 4th.
I'm not gonna throw stones at a guy who has outscored our entire team.
it’s not that deep man. “Bum” - he’s still an NHL player. Just seems like we always let ex-players score. He has one goal in his last 9. If you stretch that out to 10, he would have 2… because game 10 he also played Columbus and we let him score then too (9 of his 13 goals came in the first 12GP).

You probably loved Alex Nylander? He scored a lot.

4 PM Sunday game and so many empty seats

Are we going to lose to a goalie that doesn’t even have a Canes mask ?

Provorov is 100% better than Severson defensively. It’s not even a contest.

Severson is a better offensive player though
I think if anything, Provorov is better offensively than Severson.

I think Severson is 100% better defensively than Provorov.

And tbh, I DO NOT think Provorov is better offensively, he’s just a better skater.

Do other fanbases have goalie shipping wars like we do? The blue jacket subreddit is a flaming tirefire right now because of it

Shouldn’t Elvis be trying to fight through the screen? Where was the 2nd defenseman to help out with the other forward in front?
Good point.

If he comes out to the top of the crease, like he SHOULD, even if he “initiates contact”, that goal would have certainly been called back.

I thought we had a pretty good 3rd period until that Kotkaniemi shot. 4-1 Canes.

Yes they do. Avs fans have been shipping Georgiev the whole season and got what they wanted with the two trades (let's see how far Blackwood and Wedgewood take them). Pittsburgh fans have been trying to get rid of Jarry for a long time but it's probably quieted now that he's put together a couple of good games. Edmonton and Skinner goes back many seasons by now (he's playing well now though). So yeah it happens to every team that's bleeding goals in any fashion.

Goalie people, should Elvis have had that? Seemed like a long way out with no screen…
I don't know for sure but the shot came from the legs of another Canes player, so a goalie doesn't see the beginning of the shot. It's probably harder to save than it might look. Should probably anticipate but I don't know how much reads they get off the sticks preparing to shoot in those microseconds...
