HCTR said after last night's game you could see lineup changes, so these are even-more-than-usual Subject to Change.

Richie (aka Coach Richards) spoke of wanting to bring more energy with those lineup changes. Enter: Boll and Tropp. Exit: ???
If it were me, me exits would be Horton and Comeau (not because of energy, but because Boll and Tropp play a similar style of game)

Jenner - Johansen - Letestu
Calvert - Dubinsky - Atkinson
Foligno - Anisimov - Umberger
Tropp - MacKenzie - Boll

Is Carolina dressing a fighter? If not, no reason to dress Boll IMO.

Must winniest game of the year. We need to get over our previous losses to these guys. I hope we have more offensive creativity than what we have been seeing in March.

With a lead in my fantasy league from the goalie perspective, I am considering sacrificing Khudo to the hockey gods so when he gives up 5 with a sv % of .875 I won't feel so bad.

Those lines look damn good to me.

On a side note, I really hope Bob will be ready to go for this one even though C-Mac is the projected starter.
I'm not a fan of starting the same goalie on back-to-back nights unless absolutely necessary, especially the backup.
Kudos to Curtis for playing so well the past 2, but we need you Bob. Get well soon.

We are joking right? This feeding frenzy on Horton just has to stop. It's unproductive and removing him from the lineup won't help us score more goals or win more games.

Another game in which we'll probably be lucky to score 2 or 3 goals. With the defense and goaltending allow us to sneak out a win? We should be hoping for that 3-2 game in which we might get that 4th on an empty netter.

Is it ever OK to remove Horton from the lineup? He's been terrible for a long time, with no indication it's going to change. His play is much worse than anything Umberger did to get scratched twice.

I'm fine with Boll coming in and Comeau coming out. Other than that, keep it the same.

Not excited at all. We have to hold opponents to a goal or less to win and this doesn't help. He did well last night except the first goal, though and he is well rested but we need Bob.

Lineup changes for #CBJ tonight: Corey Tropp goes in, RJ Umberger will not play. Nikita Nikitin back in for Nick Schultz. McElhinney starts.

If Bob has the flu, why is he on the bench? Shouldn't he be away from his teammates? Or is he at a stage where he's almost over it and can't spread it?

Also, hopefully they looked at the scoreboard. Washington lost so a win tonight and they can pull ahead. Also, they will know that one of Detroit/Toronto will get 2 points so a win will keep pace with the winner and pull ahead of the loser. A regulation loss tonight and a 3 point game in the Detroit/Toronto game would push them out of a playoff spot so hopefully they're hungry and remember their loss against Carolina.

Horton is getting bashed left right and center. I will predict a PP goal from him.

6-3 Jackets win!

I'm starting to get pretty fed up with HCTR. Just don't understand the lineup move by swapping 18 and 26. If he can sit the second highest paid forward a few games, why can't he do it to the highest who has been in an absolutely anemic slump? At the moment, RJ brings so much more offensively and defensively than Horton. I've never been one to speak too highly for 18, but I would much rather have him in the lineup than Horton. Let's look at some basic stats.....

18: 71GP, 18G, 15A, 24 PM, -3 +/-
8: 33GP, 2G, 14A, 24 PM, -4 +/-

Even though the stats show that they are almost equal in +/- and assists, it should be noted who each player usually plays with. Without Joey, how many assists would Horton really have? And if Umberger did not play a role on the PK, where would his +/- be at? While those can't necessarily be answered, Horton definitely does not bring what Umberger has brought every game recently. He has shown flashes of speed that we have never seen from him, good forechecking and the puck does not die every time on his stick. Good move to sit him over Horton for a game..........

Just get a win Jackets.
