weird how many teams look out of sync this year. Especially top teams in the Metro with NJ and Carolina being wildly inconsistant

The Devils make sense with replacing two steady veteran D with rookies, and then losing at times all three of their top forwards to injury. We got lucky we didn’t see Hischier, for example. Carolina has had unimpressive goaltending for years and this year they’re also not getting the support they’ve enjoyed previously.
