True, but they used to be a lot faster when they had guys like Kapanen, Engvall, Mikheyev, etc. Back then the excuse was they didn't play a heavy on the puck possession style. Now that they do that, they're apparently not drawing penalties because they lack speed. I think it's just a Leaf thing and has nothing to do with how they play

Those were just bad teams. This was what could of been an awesome rebuild has been a failure du to a horrible team construction and a core that has zero heart or willingness to do what is needed to win
