If Keefe is sitting Robertson to evaluate Holmberg, fine. If he's sitting Robertson because he thinks this lineup is the best right now, he's lost his mind. Gregor's game has also really fallen off too.

Holmberg is kind of vanilla with mysterious upside. Between that one handed goal he scored and Matthews saying he's one of the most talented players he's ever seen, I'm kind of curious to see where Holmberg can take it.

Anyway, Jones did not have a good game the last time, they played him too much (started two 7 games in a row with a Christmas Break in between), they should get him one more day off and let him start tmw.

The Leafs didn't take full advantage of their soft schedule in the first half(3 wins in 11 games against OTT, BUF, CBJ and CHI), the second half will be extremely tough.

Leafs always show up against good teams. My main concerns are the games against crappy teams like Detroit and Calgary. The Seattle game screams schedule loss, too.

Reading between the lines... Earlier in the week they said they wanted Hildeby in on Friday so I thought they may give Hildeby a chance. Both their games are at home so easy to bring him in.

Sammy can still go down again without having to clear for 30 days right? Something like that I thought.

Wildebeest only had to handle 20 shots, no sustained pressure and only a few grade A chances

Ryan Tverberg scored 4g 1a, it was like he was invisible he was so open in the offensive zone. On one cross ice pass Bellows on the RW half boards held the puck for 3 steamboats, before he saucered a pass onto Tverby's tape on the opposite dot.

I think because of their reasonable similar styles of play, the Leafs have always done well against Colorado. Not surprisingly, also usually pretty high scoring games. Once again, bet the over on this one.

One game doesn’t mean anything one way or the other. It’s how we end up at the end of the season. If we spank the Avs tonight they are not a serious team…

One game isn’t really an indicator of anything in itself. Teams have off games all the time. I really wish someone in our media hadn’t decided to bring up the “not a serious team” mantra because that’s seemingly become the catch phrase around here for a bunch of people.

He can score goals and has a good shot - yes. He can produce offensively - yes.

His puck possession skills are awful, he's easily pushed off the puck, lackluster defensive ability. In no way do you say Robertson should be in over Holmberg
