This 3rd period is going to be a huge 3rd period. Avs response to that lackluster 2nd is going to be crucial to how the rest of this season goes.

If we suck again, and the Yotes tie and eventually win this game.... Our season is basically done IMO. If we come out with a tonne of energy and put this game away.... That's a huge boost of energy and confidence going into the biggest week of our season.

The Yotes are 9-2-2. Nobody should be looking past them at this point. They been playing well for some time now. Time for balls on the table this third period. One team is skating and the other team is the Colorado Avalanche.

I'm starting to enjoy watching him in all ends of the ice.

He had about a 2 month stretch around January and February where he wasn't playing very well I thought.

But he's taken his game to a new level since then. Seems it was just a learning and adjusting period. Very smart with the puck all the time, and always so calm with it as well.

I would love him a lot more if he shot the damn puck. He passes up so many shots and it's getting frustrated. He passed up one in the slot today. Everything else he's doing is great.
