After my wife sent me like a hundred videos - it brought me to Facebook where I saw a post from the Avs Facebook group with the caption: "The Avs aren't screwing around anymore - cut 4 players from camp".

Seriously who the hell are the jabronis that seemed surprised that these mega-shitters were cut from the team? (With the exception of 19 yr old Curran who goes back to junior)

FTR I am 100% on board with what Henchy and dahrougem have said.

And really, the SJW slant would be more toward empathy, hoping he can get the help he needs, blah blah blah, not wholesale condemnation of an addict. And really, there can be some level of that while also acknowledging that he's let the team down twice now, and both instances at the worst possible time.

And what's most concerning is that he has yet to publicly offer up a single shred of accountability. I'm not even sure if he's apologized. That's a major step in any recovery program, and if you're not doing that, you will not be successful. So far his public comments on the first debacle squarely puts the blame on other people, and his agent lied through his teeth and said he didn't have a drug or alcohol problem.

We don't really have much choice as fans but to hope for the best, doesn't mean we have to like it, and he has lost any benefit of the doubt after last playoffs. As others have said, he needs to prove it.

Don't be ridiculous. Of course the baby has been traumatized. It would be a true miracle if the kid was oblivious to it all.

Fact is, the kid will be dealing with questions all their life. Why did dad like blow more than me? Why was wrong with me that dad couldn't hang around the house sober? Kids will pick up on problems but unfortunately assign the blame to themselves.

Don't take light of what that kid is going through dude. It's no walk in the park, even if they have money. Kids don't give a crap about that shit. They want parents who are present and engaging with them.

From a prospect watcher's perspective, that's a pretty interesting lineup. We'll get a look at some of our better ones in Ritchie, Behrens, Kovalenko, and Foudy, plus Ivan Ivan and even mystery box Prishchepov (although I expect limited minutes for him).

I should be off work early tonight, so if I can find a kitten I'll be able to watch it. Hockey is back!

He got hurt in camp and it sounded like it was anticipated his rehab would take a while if I remember correctly.

What are you looking for? It's vs. the Stars at 5pm (AST)...I think that is 7PM Rocky Mountain Time. The game is in Denver and you can purchase tickets for as little as $14. Personally if you are in the area I'd splurge for the $50-$70 tiers and get down closer to the ice and between the blue-lines.

Found that all out in like 5 seconds. However, as an outsider....I'm still trying to figure out how to watch it myself. I've seen some chatter about an an app called Victory+ but I've never heard of it before.
