“From a private source, I have been able to confirm the Avalanche Reverse Retro jerseys for next season will be based of the Colorado Rockies.
The Rockies played in Denver from 1976-1982 before being relocated to New Jersey and becoming the Devils.
The jersey will have a white base and use all of the colors from the Colorado flag.”

I'd buy one of these. Didn't know the team could get the rights to them considering its not really their franchise.

I'd pass on replicas of the first few years of Avs jerseys, plenty of options there already to get. Same thought with the reverse retro Nordiques design, would rather buy a real Nords jersey. This one though feels right to be rolled out if the Devils franchise and NHL work out a deal to allow them. As much as one could buy a Lanny jersey, just doesn't feel right when the man is much more known for his contributions to another franchise.

No, you gotta go for Wilf Paiement.

I know no one wants an update from Hockeybuzz podcast, but it’s genuinely funny to me. Their theme was how many players from each team would be worth the #10 overall pick in a draft. Here are the Avalanche which received unanimous no’s:

Devon Toews
Nazem Kadri
Bowen Byram
Alex Newhook
Sam Girard
Valeri Nichuskin
Andre Burakovsky

The last 2-3 names are certainly arguable. The concept was for contract status not to be included. I coulda just listed the top 4 as it makes plain what we’re up against with east coast perception.

I don't know why you keep doing this to yourself

I feel like you brought this upon yourself (again).

So $30 a month for Altitude? Ha Ha. Yeah, I'll continue to watch via kitten until they agree with Comcast
Comcast/Dish don't need to be so greedy, but yeah, Altitude thinking they're worth that much on the consumer market isn't going to get them a contract for a long time to the cable retailers.

It’s somehow cheaper to buy a VPN sub and sub to the Disney+ bundle than it is to just get Altitude. And you get a VPN and Disney+ and Hulu and access to other sports by going that route.

Just caught up watching the last couple games.

Did they cut off the last couple minutes of the first Stars game live on ESPN? Because that's how the replay was. Had to switch to the Stars broadcast to finish the game.

So far ESPN has been a clear downgrade from NHL.tv IMO. They've shown less games because of TNT and the NHL Network getting exclusive access, they cut out portions of the intermission reports, they come back late from commercial sometimes, and they don't show the pre games, and rarely show the post games like NHL.tv did.
