News Article: Colorado Avalanche Media Coverage Part VI

Sure, if you want to watch it live on Sundays or when there’s a re-run on the schedule.

I haven’t been able to find a download for it, though.
I remember finding a download on the high seas back in the day for a preseason game against Detroit. We had Johny Boychuck and Chris Stewart both in the lineup and I was pumped to find a way to watch.

72 hous later....
I got to watch a pre-season game.

Now they actually air the damn games and people complain they shouldn't.
[edit... had assistance from an eastern european friend here on finding out how to actually do the download and stuff. I have a feeling that poor bastard might've been the one guy seeding the game for for 3 straight days. *LOL* Dial-up and DSL both sucked.]

Is there a way to watch the first episode in his documentary in Canada?

You can pay for MAX? One site says it will stream there approximately one week after each episode airs, whatever that means.

Not sure if it will be geo locked though.

Some conflicting info on when Part 1 will stream on Max.

Two sites, including the Denver Post, say it will stream March 21st, which is almost two weeks after airing.

This site below though, listing all the new content on MAX, says it will stream March 17th. :dunno:

F*** you. Still doesn't change the fact I missed MacK's 1000th point.

I mean... I know it's not the same, but did they make the third period or game available for a rewatch at least?

Like surely they've got some day-time programming they could supercede for a re-broadcast so folks can watch/rewatch.
Yes. It was replayed in full starting at about 10:45 last night. I recorded that, and was able to watch the 3rd period when I got up this morning.

I know it's not the same thing, but at least you've got a recording of it! Think that's one I'd try to download to a hard-drive and hold on to for a while. Might be fun to revisit the game in its entirety down the road abit. There was a lot drama with his 1,000th being waived off and then him coming back and getting it again regardless.

Got bummed when I lost the hard-drive on my dish receiver a decade ago. I had so many games recorded. Just couldn't have been half-assed to rip them off the receiver and put them on my PC hard-drive and creating an HTPC/NAS system.

Still probably should do that and rip all my blue-ray and DVD movies so we can stream them rather than digging through a closet looking for them.

Anyone know where to watch the Gabe Landeskog documentary in Canada?

Thing is more elusive than bigfoot

Didn't Daily Faceoff's articles used to be good or am I just not remembering well? Some of the laziest content is on that site, total fluff pieces I'd expect from a random blog, but not from a site that actually went out and spent money to get Frank Seravalli.

It's a blog format and usually fine. What are you expecting?

I get that it's a blog format but if you're not backing anything up with either insider info (which, I thought was the whole reason you get Seravalli in the first place) or numbers (which should be accessible to a site with that much money and clout) then anybody can write that shit.

By far the best part on that site is the line combinations. They keep them updated for all 32 teams and if you want to know who plays with who, PP units, PK units, etc..

I use it regularly, especially useful pre trade deadline.

Absolutely, I just thought they were expanding their coverage with articles and of course, insider info by getting a guy who was being groomed as the heir apparent to Bobby Margarita at TSN. Doesn't really look like that's the case, then again maybe that wasn't their end goal.

Another competitor to DNVR, GS, CHN, LOA, etc…

Call me a pedant if you wish, but I cannot stand the way that second sentence is written

"Check out what all we have to offer..."

I think it's an Americanism, but it would be way better written as

"Check out all that we have to offer..."

Little things like this bug me. Sorry, not sorry.
