He especially screwed the goaltending. I get giving Annunen a break, but you effin' scratched him just to play a goaler who's never going to be a long-term solution here. It's like he's reading astrology signs or something. Annunen looks like he needs to be in the zone to get the most out of him and putting him in the press box seems to restart him back at the starting line negatively.

You don't know that by any means. We all saw Annunen look like utter rubbish when he goes in cold, he could have very weird mentality traits when he has to focus big time when it comes to being a starting goaler. We've seen it a lot with injured players, their mental health comes back positively when they are able to return to skate and just be around with the boys. I don't think my theory is outlandish here that when you're scratching Annunen, you're sending him mixed signals.

And you don’t either. It’s silly to be nitpicking about them trying out the new guy. I don’t buy for a minute that it affected him all that adversely being up in the press box for one effing game. He played mostly fine tonight, nothing he gave up was out of the ordinary.
