He’s very good. Legit superstar? No. And honestly he may never be that. It’s hard to be a legit superstar when you do one thing well.

He has 12 goals and 9 assists this season in 21 games.
39 goals 30 assists in 98 games for his career.

He does more than just score goals.

The problem is that everyone has their own definition of what constitutes a superstar.

Is a superstar a top 10 player in the league? Then the answer is no, he is not a superstar.

I'd even go further and say he's not even the best player on his own team.

And ?

It's against the law to have 2 superstars on the same team.

Please note that I'm not saying that he is a superstar...

CC is 5'9" and 162 lbs he isn't even close to any of the guys you listed in terms of being a physical specimen.
This bodbuilder Jeff nippard, is 160 pounds. You absolutely cannot tell someone's body composition by their weight on paper, or while they're wearing hockey equipment.

And what? It's rare to say you have two top 10 players on your team. Off the top of my head, maybe 1-2 teams can make that argument today.

You're underrating Debrincat, let's see Caufield do what Debrincat has done twice already before declaring him much better. Which is score 40 goals.

The obvious reply took only 4 minutes.
Put him next to Patrick Kane and watch him score 60

CC needs to catch up and can be at his peak as good as Debincat but let's wait and see.

That being said Debincat has a really weird patter of his first 2 years with a high shooting % then a real down year, then 2 more high years and this 6th season only 7%.
