6 in 6. But impressive nonetheless, tied at 2nd with Panarin for goals scored in the NHL.Best thing we’ve seen with him is that he’s actually sniped a couple of goals. Those kinds of shots weren’t going in for him last year. That’s really great news for him and us. Hopefully he can stay healthy. 7 goals in 6 games is a terrific start.
Ah, Yahoo had listed it as his 7th of the year.6 in 6. But impressive nonetheless, tied at 2nd with Panarin for goals scored in the NHL.
The Show Must Go On!Anyone else wonder why he constantly dekes in the shootout when he's got such a great shot? Drives me crazy. Ryder used to do the same thing.
I think Slaf has been alright. He's a little bit too tentative but people forget he is only 20. At the end of last season the team was eliminated he could play without pressure. It's the first time he is asked to play on a 1st line with the pressure to win. There was some hype at the beginning of the season, warranted or not, and there was definitely some pressure to win. I think the worse player on that line has been Suzuki. He is the vet he has to show the way.I find Slaf plays better when he shoots. He even seems to pass better. Always looking for a pass doesnt work. Same for Dach.
???? He hasn't even been that bad. He's been godawful
???? He hasn't even been that bad.
Once again your expectations for these guys are completely out of wack lol you guys do this to yourselves.
I expected a first liner, all we got was a glorified Mike Hoffman.???? He hasn't even been that bad.

It's so funny seeing you go from Mr Negative to Mr Gobble Gobble everything is perfect.2nd in the league in goals. I guess he's gotta be a line driver and legitimate superstar now.

2nd in goals after 7 games while shooting 20% over his career average. Oh yeah? Tied with Ross Colton.
‘’Caufield needs to score!!! Not scoring enough! Don’t care about assists, his job is to score!!!’’I expected a first liner, all we got was a glorified Mike Hoffman.

Jack Hughes and Boldy. That's it.For his career:
2nd in goals T-4th in points from his draft class... Guess 2019 was a rare "no first liner" year
He hasn't been the best player on his line. That's ridiculous. He's a turnover machine, he provides zero offensive and defensive support and all He's done is get the puck in the net. The standards are so fricking low around here it's crazy. He’s been dangerous and opportunistic. Best player on his line. Unfortunately though, that line hasn’t been as effective as it was last year. I’d like to see some more shots but it’s nice to see him snipe a few from further out.
No doubt he’s gotten some puck luck but that’s a very welcome change from last year. He’s got something like 15 in 15 dating back to last year. Split between two seasons or not, that’s very encouraging.
