Just looks like a a goal scorer slump to me. All before him have suffered the same story in the same position with the same team. With 1 goal in 12 games wonder if his shoulder is bothering him again?
I've played enough hockey and seen teammates also go down with shoulder issues. Both cases was from being hit. It's also high probability to recurr
Playing against AHL caliber team also. But see what happens next few games. Be able to tell.Just looks like a a goal scorer slump to me. All before him have suffered the same story in the same position with the same team.
I suspect his shoulder again. He definitely doesn't have the same energy as before. Caufield use to have a sparkle to his game. More perimeter player lately. Shoulder injury common to persist. Most likely been hit again.Just looks like a a goal scorer slump to me. All before him have suffered the same story in the same position with the same team.
I agree and he was able to be open in great spots to shoot.I thought Caufield played with more energy last night. A good sign. Because last month or so, that extra getup been missing from his game. It was there first month of season.
Making an effort to play a better all-around game can drain the energy out of a guy.I thought Caufield played with more energy last night. A good sign. Because last month or so, that extra getup been missing from his game. It was there first month of season.
Sorry to burst your bubble but Caufield is American, born and raised in the States.I had no idea that Caufield was Canadian. His dad is from Ontario and his grandfather too. Thats nice.
I'd guess 18 months like a knee. Tennis players don't get body checked either. There was a post on Reddit a week ago about a tennis pro who said they had a similar surgery as Caufield and that it took until 1 year after the surgery for their shoulder to be the same strength as when it was injured. I.e. it takes 12 months to get to the level you were at the day the docs determined you needed surgery.
