I think the Rags did well by recognizing Parssinen was the odd man out and snagging him. Upset the Avs gave up on him so early.

Only thing I don't like about Lindgren is his injury history. Relatively a lot to give up for a poor performing player who is often injured. Definitely a big upgrade on De Haan and solidifies the D. This was obviously plan B once the Jones talks fell through

As mentioned by others, Ryan Lindgren reminds me so much of Dan Girardi so I was onboard with not giving him a long term contract because of what seems like an already decline in play due to his style of play. With that said, I truly believe he can be a great addition in a 3rd pairing/PK specialist role at the right cap hit. I also believe he would have greatly benefited from having the postseason off to overall heal up his body but I fully expect him to have a great playoff on a deep run and a team pay him in the offseason

Colorado wins simply based on getting Lindgren alone.
LOL thanks for letting us know you haven’t watched the Rangers all year.

Lindgren is solid

Colarado wins this trade by a mile
LMAO no, Lindgren is not solid. I’ve watched every game he’s played this year. That’s not the word to use.

Looking forward to Lindgren getting a smaller role, going from a human penalty kill to just bad, and then people telling me I was wrong and he's good now.
So accurate. There are people in here who think he’s good lmao.

I think NYR benefits. Pärssinen has some untapped potential. De Haan is ass but so is Lindgren. And they get the picks.

A bit shocking seeing NYR effectively as the seller, but their season has been a disappointment so I can understand it.

Not a knock on any of the players, but getting a 2nd rounder is big.
There isnt single player on Avs roster that they drafted in second round themselves. Last players they drafted in second round, that actually turned into decent NHLers, were picked in 2009 - ROR and Tyson Barrie.

So yeah, 2nd rounder is big, but if you are someone like Dallas, not Colorado.

Isn’t that the same chart that shows De Hann is a capable defenseman? Maybe take that with a grain of salt
Im not arguing that the chart is perfect, but the eye test does match up with the chart. You very, very clearly have not watched any Ranger games this year if you think otherwise
I know he sucks. Ranger fans would never say he’s bad until he’s off the team. Then he’s the worst player of all time.
I mean, go look at the Rangers GDTs from this year. I don’t know if there is one poster that was advocating for him. He has been ECHL quality this year and could not even hold his own playing alongside one of the top dmen in the league. Maybe Lindgren will look better next to Makar????
