COL NYI Brock Nelson William Dufour for Calum Ritchie Oliver Kylington 1st Round Pick Cond 2028 3rd Round Pick

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

I haven't gone over to their board. What's the complaint? That he floats at times instead of busting it back to the D zone? That his shot isn't accurate? His passes wobble and don't go tape to tape? Brock's always been a streaky player.

More likely Toy Story wasn't a box office hit out there . . .

Brock was a very frustrating player pre- Trotz, who knows maybe something lit a fire under him during the Trotz reign and now that he is no longer here he doesn't have that fire anymore

I think we started to see Nelson's play drop off this year. Let's be honest - His prime is behind him. And this was basically confirmed by the reporting that Lou "the contracts are too long" Lamoriello who was both desperate to resign him and yet - Only offering him 3 years.

This is why I am so relieved that Nelson turned down Lou and he was forced to trade to trade him. Because I think it would've both been criminal to resign him or let him walk for nothing. Trading him for a 2nd would've been more smart, but the return was very fair...And it helps us long-term, so that was clearly the smartest move.
Always a chance he comes back in the summer!

Nelson not really gelling with the Avs, although it's still early - there's a number of Avs fans complaining about Brock's play. I think we should be very happy he would not re-sign here and managed to move him while he had value. I do wish him the best, but I think he might regret not taking the Isles offer.
They were salivating after 40 minutes of the 1st game.

They're still shuffling lines and letting chemistry develop. He'll be fine and we got a nice return.

This post already not aging well - two goals for Brock tonight! And two for Tavares against the Rangers, helping the Isles playoff push.

I'm not sure what the Avs fans are complaining about. He's there 7 games, has 4 pts (2 and 2), Saw him hit 2 posts. He's playing with 2 new linemates...Damn, give the guy a chance.
