Confirmed with Link: [COL, CAR, CHI] Rantanen-Hall to CAR, Necas-Drury-25 2nd-26 4th to COL, Chi 25 3rd to Chi (Ret 50% on Mikko)

He hates Parssinen and has hated Mittelstadt for months. Drouin healthy or not doesn't matter.
I'm not talking many more shifts but a few more IMO.

Hopefully Nuke and Drouin come back fully healthy after the 4Nations tournament, and we get changes at 2C and 4D very soon.

Based on how things have been going, Beds will talk to the trainers after the break and it will turn out Drouin is taking up a career as a professional ESports guy and Nuke will have retired to become a monk at a remote monastery to rid himself of sin

Do you believe in Unicorns also? :sarcasm:

Unicorns are 1000000x more likely than any of those things happening, including Bedsy talking to the trainers.
I didn't mention which trainers he is talking to, clearly he's going to some aquarium and talking to the walrus trainer for hockey advice.

Is Jack Drury the quickest acquisition to gain full trust and confidence from Bednar?

Obviously a star like Marty Necas jumps in and delivers right away, but usually a role player takes more time.

I go back to the Flyers game where Drury was sitting on the bench, one leg over the boards, staring intently at Bednar as the refs were checking to see whether the faceoff would be in our zone or outside the zone. As soon as it was confirmed as being in our zone, Bednar gave him the nod and he hopped over. Colton and Wood weren't even looking at Bednar and jumped up to get on when they saw Drury go.

Drury seems to be an extremely high IQ, coach's player type guy.

With almost no practice time after the trade, as we were on the road and had travel days, he immediately gained Bednar's full trust. Really impressive.
Drury is what I envisioned ROR was going to be when the Avs first drafted him. ROR obviously surpassed all expectations offensively.

Too expensive, too injury prone and got pushed around by Dallas all series. I want him out. Find a younger, cheaper non unionized version of him

Ok, but Manson was the 4 last year. That’s the point, we need to push him down. This is why I’m against adding bottom pairing dmen. They need to add a top 4 RD to force Manson down. He should be used selectively, on the PK and be kept fresh.
