Drury and LOC on a line together with, like, I dunno, Colton?...would be interesting to say the least.

Although that effectively leaves a 4th line of Wood - Kelly - Kiviranta, I dunno about that one.
If we get Landy back

Landy-Drury-LOC/Colton 3rd line

Talking about hand injury.....anybody noticed yesterday that Makar's right hand was wrapped up? I wonder when that happened.
I swear this gets brought up every time the camera pans to the bench and catches makar without a glove on. I'm pretty sure its been a couple of years since this started

Hey, couldn't find fantasy thread but would love to hear anyone's thoughts...

Would you trade rantanen for Schieffele in a H2H cats league? I've got pretty strong wingers and also have Svechnikov and Jarvis on Carolina so I don't really think I want Rants too, plus. I kind of think he doesn't hold as much value on Carolina... I could use a top tier center and he would fetch the best.

Thoughts on the below? If not, who would you target instead? I don't want to go for J. hughes as I already have Hischier...

G. A. SOG. PP. H. BLKs.
Rants
26 40 19 152 29 33
Schiefele
31 30 20 123 41 43

Interestingly, consensus on dailyfaceoff seems to be no but no one seems to want to elaborate... I lose a bit of assists but gain in hits and blocks...

This is why Landeskog was a fantasy god mode player. I don't do fantasy anymore, but the league was a ESPN cat. keeper league with a salary cap.

I don't think he holds as much value on Carolina, but which team do you think goes deeper in the playoffs. That's a question I'd be asking myself. Assuming you guys do a playoff competition.

Wood and Kivi are very passable 4th liners.

Kelly. Well he does make less than Mitts. Which is something.

Fantasy playoffs end before the post season.

If its not a keeper league, its not a horrible deal although I think you could aim a bit higher just based on his position being lw/rw now in yahoo and brand name.

Since its almost fantasy playoffs, I typically as a starting point would just look ahead at the dates your playoffs are and see what each nhl teams schedule are like (use daily face-off schedule). That way i can see what teams have the best schedule remaining, typically looking for a minimum of 3 games/preferably 4 for each playoff week and make sure that some of those games are off nights like M/W/F/Su. That can give you a good baseline on players you could target.

Since 3/6 of your stats are strictly counting every man game helps, nothing worse than having players sit on your bench.

Oh yeah, I use dailyfaceoff all the time and the schedule is a great tool, especially for playoffs. This is an ESPN league though so he's only RW. I just feel like Scheifele is more consistent and I really don't think Rants has the same production moving forward as he had here. I think a lot of people on HF are still seeing him as the Avs Rants and not the Canes Rants and I'm just not sold he'll have the same production there. Man, I want to trade him but I'm struggling to pull the trigger.

The only other centers (if their owners would even be willing to trade) I'd probably target are basically only Hughes, Eichel, Crosby and Barkov and I've already got Nico Hischier... where some of these centers may have good stats, they're also lacking in others comparatively to Scheifele.
