This conversation is teetering towards a discussion on your favourite brand of "adult diaper"
There's more than one brand? I thought Depends had cornered the market lol

For the record... aside from my heartburn, I'm the fittest 49 year old I know. Just tested my 1RMs in the gym and set a couple of PRs

The wind is out of the sails.
If Samberg's injury is what it looks like, then I just lost a whole lot of confidence of our chances for a strong playoff run.
We were mediocre without him in the lineup.
Aside from Helle, Scheif & Morrissey I think Samberg was the next in line "least could afford to lose" player we had.

Top 4 Stanley anyone...

🤮

Weak ass call for the PP, bad luck no stick for the forward led to the sniper shot on Dylan's leg.
The way it was twitching and his reaction, there's no way he's back any time soon.
He could miss the whole playoffs even if we go deep.

Iafallo was responsible for the first goal. If he moves the puck faster he isn't pickpocketed and it doesn't lead to an easy goal. It wasn't the whole line, that was on him. The second goal where Samberg gets hit by a puck and is down and the 1st line isn't even on, is on them? The third goal, the Corey Perry shot from the slot was on the first line?
Yeah scheif tried a fancy move in the neutral zone - lost it and then no one backchecked... not busting their balls since it was back to back...

A player can’t improve on their play in the press box, or so I’ve been told. :sarcasm:
I mean they don't even trust him to run the pp that's Miller. You don't get many chances when you are the odd man out so even if Stan turns the puck over as many times Stan currently has it. You got to be better than the current guy to be the new guy.

Also, because, they had already locked up the Western Conference and I really don't think players are too concerned with President's trophy. I mean, Washington went into a complete slide since locking it down.

The game was more can Schief and Connor set personal landmarks. Auditions for Fleury and Heinola, Toni. Give Perfetti and Names a chance to gell more with Nino as I am not confident that Ehlers will be back for 1st game of playoffs.

Stay healthy, which is where the team took a big L.

Give Scheif and KC the game off...do not play Hellebuyck.

Does anybody have any idea when our first playoff game will be?
From Reddit... Not sure how accurate it is.

"As I understand it, if we play anyone but the Flames they will move the concert and we would start Saturday. If we play the Flames I don't think we can start until Sunday. So - as soon as the flames are eliminated (as quickly as tomorrow night) the schedule should be announced shortly after. My son works concessions and they don't have their shift schedule yet."

Its not really cheese, as we like to think of it. Tasty but quite foreign to most biology. :)
Yes, I used the term 'cheese' loosely as that is what it is meant to represent. I expect it is an oil based product or by-product. I should have known better generally (and I do normally stay away from it) or more specifically because it is Oiler orange in colour.

Injuries … that’s why I hate these meaningless games. Jets should have just played the entire Moose roster. I know the rules say you can’t …

So who gets hurt next game?
I can't see any way Scheif and KC play the next game. I think Arny gave KC a shot at 100 points, but without the defense behind him was a long shot. You have to look at Strome taking out KC last year, and be weary of playing either of those 2 in a meaningless game. Even if it is back to back for the Ducks and home matchups I still wouldn't take the chance. Although maybe it is a different time of the season and you expect more gamesmanship.

De Melo, Perfetti, Iafallo, Niederreiter have also played in all 81 this year. Maybe these guys get to 82.
Maybe they get the rest too.

For Fan Appreciation night, would be a little ironic to play a mostly Moose lineup.

Ya. The perry goal was from the scheifele giveaway in the neutral zone

I think I watched the replay 20 times by now. Looks like the shot hit just above the knee hitting soft tissue. I imagine there is one hell of a bruise.
Good catch on that @KingBogo, the quads can take a licking and (with frequent ultrasound by Physio or trainer) keep on ticking..Here’s hoping he can get it worked out, maybe taped up at least by day6-7 post injury.

Gotta watch for myositis ossificans after a big contusion like that in the quad

I wanna say that's what ended Cam Neely's career

Yeah, especially if they work the quads too hard too early and it pulls off the femoral periosteum. It might be better if they take a little more time with Samberg..Hopefully it’ll resolve nicely but I don’t expect him to be quite his top-form self for a few weeks.
I’d put his return out a bit longer than Arniel has implied..
