Coaching is a serious problem.

If you can't see that both those corps of D you listed are vastly better than what we iced tonight, then I don't know what to tell you. Despite the fact that they weren't that great to begin with actually shows you just how bad our current iteration is.
Sure, the coach is great. Eat up his proverbs.

I don't expect Marty to be fired, he'll eventually step down or be promoted to some invented job in the organization. I'll just keep my fingers crossed that Boston keeps losing. This will be a repeat of when Julien became available, it being the final nail in the Therrien coffin. If Montgomery is available Hughes pulls the trigger quickly.

If Hughes saves him we’re in an old boys club all over again, probably worse. Guy never coached a pro game before us and if they find excuses to keep him around when shit hits the fan it’s beyond any sense of logic.

I don’t think he’ll get fired yet, just saying he better not be promoted.

It's really bizarre how quickly things can unravel for them and how seemingly helpless the team comes across at times. That last period against the flyers was sloppy and almost a loss despite leading 4-1. That bled right into this game and they just never were able to get up and running. You really have to rally the troops and get them firing to get back into the game, but it just never happened. You can win a game that is 4-1 in the first period, but you've got to fix the issue immediately. MSL just doesn't have whatever they need and I don't think he can realistically be a long term solution, I think that he's just a stopgap. It would just be nice to have a little bit of maturity and grace, and that press conference a few days ago convinced me that he really has no place as an NHL head coach.

Are we not allowed to critique him? I don’t understand. I’ve seen Habs teams whose #1 defenceman was Patrice Brisebois look far better defensively. What we are seeing is not normal.

A piss poor critique is a piss poor critique... That it's directed at MSL is irrelevant.

MSL isn't beyond reproach, and, clueless rants about each loss are well deserving of deep reproach.

Pretty simple, no?
