We've already been through this. Warsofsky has coached the D the past 2 seasons before becoming HC. Under his leadership, they pretty much gifted Henry Thrun a job straight out of college while Mukhamudullin is lower on the pecking order(why?). He also continues to lie about Thrun, saying he has "taken a massive leap in his development"(lol) as well as play him on the top pair while Mukhamudullin is stuck on the 3rd pair and will probably get sent back down as soon as Ruuta is healthy. Then there's the forwards, Kovalenko is admittedly a mystery, but he has shown some flashes of high end skill but was immediately doghouse'ed as soon as he had a couple bad games, but the other comedic plugs actually get to show off how low-effort they are on a nightly, almost shiftly, basis, w/ zero repercussions(and these players are not russian). Guschin I'm not even that high on, don't think he's a future NHL'er, but he has definitely earned and deserved a longer look than he's gotten. But once again he had to have the training camp of his life to even make the team, and then he got like 3 games of 10 minutes and was banished back to the Barfosky doghouse and there's a real reality where he gets moved soon w/out ever getting an extended look. While we had to watch these tire-fire bums stink it up and cough up all these 3rd period leads.
"Laughable" though. Yeah, I'm sure Kovalenko is just a terrible personality liar. Makes sense.
