We got the first klingberg interview

I like how confident he sounds. I also like how he admits he needs to be better defensively.

Its really hard to tell how the players feel coming off injuries though. Last few years Brown said he felt great but took like 50 games. I remember Holloway saying he felt good and then later said his wrist is all janky. So who knows I guess until we see him.

Do you think Klingberg is ready to go?

And how is the lineup with McD out?

Drai still with Pod and RV or is Hyman/Skinner moved to his line?

Will be interesting to see...I hope they are practicing PP with McD out.

I can kind of relate although i had double hip replacement and not resurfacing. Before getting both my hips done I had to stop playing defense and switch to forward. I couldn't defend at all without the puck. No mobility. Eventually had to quit hockey as the pain got too intense.

After surgery I'm back skating and moving better than I can ever remember and no pain. It's was life changing.

Here's hoping Klinger can return to form! That would be huge.

Looks like he will start playing after this upcoming weekend

“I think 3 games is a bit much for both sides. Obviously we don’t care about having our best players in the league.”

My guess with the lines:

Pods-Drai-Arvy
Hyman-RNH-Kapanen
Janmark-Rico-Brown
Skinner-Philp-Perry

Further to this - for a league clinically obsessed with TV ratings, the need to send a "f*** you" to the Oilers and McDavid appears to supersede featuring him in a game that's in the afternoon on the East coast and in prime time in Europe.

Bet the rights holders are thrilled that they decided they needed to prove some sort of point this time.

if the league really cared about TV ratings and all of that noise they would have given 97 and myers 1 game and hyped the shit out of the thursday rematch.
