The odd thing about Kane is that his downfall isn’t even from him being selfish - it is him being a complete moron. What I mean by that is he doesn’t put himself before his team for his own benefit - he serially makes irrational, knee-jerk decisions in the moment where everyone involved (including himself) loses. This LTIR situation is no different from a long series of un-strategic decisions he has made throughout his NHL career.

I'm not going to hold it against someone to not extend basic decency to those who never showed it prior. They are just taking maximum advantage of how the playoffs are refereed as well as favorable reffing. I hope oilers get rid of him, what ever the cost it is worth it, he had a decent last
year, but off with him, the handshake thing i dont care about, but using

I think you just wanted to use that phrase because this is literally an Evander Kane bashing thread, one of many.

Even when he has a great playoffs, he still gets crapped on. There’s people on here who truly believe he’s an AHL player at best or at least, did during the COVID saga.

Nothing Kane could do would earn any type of respect from some people on here
