perfetti made the team, appleton may be injured so maybe they ir him nvm he is fine

Question remains. Who do we send down/waive to make room?

Maenalanen looks like the most obvious to me, but I liked what we saw of him. Is Axel better?

They will go 2 7 plus 14

Toni and Axel extra forwards.
Capo extra D.

Ville and samberg will both be sent down. It's obvious at this point unless a trade is in the works but I doubt that

I'll guess they send down a waiver exempt playing today and maybe they waive toni tomorrow and recall who they send down today

And has some offensive potential - and according to that player card, is VG defensively - and can play C
The Athletic had both on their top waiver targets. They has this to say about Axel:

"Jonsson-Fjallby has a lot of the coveted traits you’d want from an energy fourth-liner. He’s speedy, enormously disruptive on the forecheck, reliable defensively and can fill spot duty on the penalty kill. Jonsson-Fjallby split time between the NHL and AHL last season, suiting up in 23 games for the Capitals."

Quoting myself:

I don't know what else you people want.

He was actually one of the more productive Hershey Bears last season, and it seems like HFCaps aren't thrilled they lost him, so maybe there's something there? 23 NHL games doesn't support much of any kind of conclusion on that level, good or bad.
Only Don Cherry can say "you people.":sarcasm:

Go with the flow I guess, David Gustafsson probably gets to room with the Swedish Fabio on the road.

Hockey wise I guess we'll wait and see. Seems like an upgrade on Harkins, but now the Jets have to demote 2 defensemen to the Moose, unless Appleton starts the year on IR, or Maenalanen gets sent down.

It's possible that both Heinola and Snerg go to the Moose with Copa as the PB popcorn dude if both Apples and PLD are ready to go Friday

Send Harkins down, now that he has cleared. Send Snerg and Maenalanen down and we are at 13, 8, 2 = 23 man roster

Maybe they aren't impressed with Toninato and maybe this guy pushes Toni to waivers and

Doesn't make sense to have the young D sitting so I doubt it. 2 7 14 also = 23. 2 extra forwards makes more sense than 2 extra D.

I'm all in favour of a strong forechecker. We've missed that since loosing Armia and Tanev.

That's a possibility, but it means Stanley - Schmidt.

I have no problem with Stanley and Copa in the PB.

I guess they could waive Toni but I think we would miss his versatility. They can send Meno down while they get a good look at Axel. Bring him back if Axel, or another 4th liner falters.

We have 2 forwards who are a bit banged up right now. It makes zero sense to keep 8 D when all 8 are fully healthy

2 extra forwards. 1 extra D. Not hard to call up ville or Samberg if they are needed

I'm wondering if Barron is the forward that goes down. He's missed most of camp and .ay need some more games to get up to speed.

This guy seems to have similar tools to Tanev and we all know how much his speed and forechecking ability helped the Lowry line.
