Nah. Agents know where all the jobs are. Zachary Lavigne is also going to Amiens. 3 years at UQTR,

What else does he have to do with UQTR? Won Gold at Nationals, Gold at FISU, Bronze at Nationals.

I'm good with guys getting to play at a higher level.

It's not a coincidence that UQTR has been on a recruiting rampage. They have an older team anyway and probably knowing a few months ago that these guys were leaving made it more important to load up.

I'd like to see Phil get some NHL exposure. I hope we can all agree that very few CIS guys even get to the AHL so a guy like Derek Ryan from UofA has done very well with 8 years + in the NHL.

I realize that ECHL and Europe is "Pro" hockey, but unless it's the KHL, AHL or NHL, it's still minor pro.

Not quite a Pro signing, but ex-UPEI guy Joel Ward is now an assistant coach with Vegas Golden Knights.

Joel spent 3 seasons with their AHL team, Henderson Silver Knights.

Great for him, not so great for UNB.

Big loss, especially at this time of the summer. Rare to see them lose someone after only one season (although 2021-2022 leading goal scorer Nicolas Guay also left for pro after half a season).

On the optimistic side, there is now a top line spot available to entice recruits with.
